Created in collaboration with renowned fashion stylist Vanessa Reid and first launched in 2021, Port Tanger re-introduces the ‘Kuky’, a unisex aviator-style pair of glasses inspired by Reid's mother.
"She is fire! She's a super-stylish woman, and she always wore aviators. I've tried to turn them into something I would wear now by making them more architectural and sharp. We used the classic Andalusian color palette. Glasses are very personal, so it’s great to see these evolve from a story so close to me. I see this as a collaboration with my mother."
To unveil these new frames, Port Tanger developed a unique campaign, under the artistic direction of Vanessa Reid, in tandem with her long-time collaborator, Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen.
The frames come in six distinct colorways, each drawing from memories of growing up in Andalucia and the love of her mother's style.
