Photographed by Bibi Borthwick, the reflections seen in the lenses come from photographs she has taken over many years traveling through North Africa. Fragments of cities, streets, and passing moments appear quietly within the frames. Rather than staging a place, the images carry traces of real journeys. The frames hold these reflections naturally, allowing different landscapes and memories to surface in the present moment.

Port Tanger was born out of an imaginative response to a poem from a travel diary set in Tangier. We aim to preserve the colors and cultures that travelers see and experience through design. Crafted with care and precision, our frames are handmade in Japan with high-quality hardware inserts, acetate material, and nylon lenses that offer 100% UVA/UVB protection.
