Celebrating the Echolalia solar eclipse gathering with Port Tanger.
On August 12, 2026, the sky over Víðistaðatún, Iceland transformed into a cosmic canvas for Björk’s Echolalia Festival—a solar eclipse gathering like no other. As night fell in the middle of the day, an extraordinary global crowd united under the eclipse to the sounds of Björk, Arca, Ronja, Sideproject, and more.
Port Tanger was honored to frame this celestial moment. We partnered with Echolalia on the custom neon pink solar eclipse viewing glasses worn throughout the festival, while performing artists and attendees wore a curated selection of Port Tanger frames. Bringing the visual spectacle full circle, Ana Projects designed immersive prismatic animations that illuminated into the crowd.
